What happens when I arrive?
You’ll be met at the Sport Centre entrance and taken through to the CLEAR unit in the Human Performance Centre. We help you complete questionnaires detailing your clinical condition, the type of medications you take, current activity levels and we will ask for your consent to participate in an exercise referral scheme. We then start with some light, easy exercises. Over the following weeks you are taught how to use the fitness equipment and how to monitor your own response to each exercise during the sessions.
Within a few weeks, everyone referred to the CLEAR unit should feel confident that they can visit and use the equipment of a leisure facility anywhere the country.
